Day of Caring 2009
On Friday, October 2, 2009, marines from the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, Georgia selected Faith Community Outreach Center as their Day of Caring volunteer community service location. “Day of Caring”, hosted by United Way of Southwest Georgia, encourages volunteers from churches, colleges and businesses to engage in a day of community service. Always faithful, the Marine Corps Logistics Base provided the largest group of volunteers for the October 2 day of service.
